But first…

Planning a wedding can be extremely overwhelming, especially if you are the first of your friends to do so.  We highly recommend hiring a planner whether they be there for the entire process or just the day of the wedding.  We feel the very first thing you should look for is your planner and from there a venue.  Some will book up a whole year ahead of time.  After that…the dress!  Some manufacturers can take up to 8 months to ship once the gown has been ordered.  Start shopping approximately one year out if possible to keep the process stress free.  We also recommend allowing 1-2 months for the alterations process.  If you are short on time, talk to your stylist.  There are many companies making dresses that can be shipped within a week or two.  The key here is communication!  Rely on your planners expertise and things should run smoothly.
